Cow Fundraising Project:-

One milking cow can help rescue 50 orphans. Everyday it will produce 10 liters of milk.  The milk provides nourishment for the orphans and is also sold through a local dairy market.  An orphanage with 50 children can be completely sustainable with only 36 cows. Each Murrah Buffalo Cow cost $1,000, due to the transportation cost of getting them from Northern to Southern India.  A Dairy Cow cost $750.

Would you be willing to help purchase a cow to make sure 50 kids are guaranteed a future?

These cows truly can change the lives of the orphans. It will mean that the orphans are guaranteed food, shelter, and clothes every month. Also, the staff will be able to get paid monthly to insure they can provide for their families and care for these kids. These cows allow us to raise the standard of living by allowing us to be able to make facility upgrades such as beds and contribute to other self sustaining efforts. Overall, these cows help us to operate out of a place of strength and not desperation as we seek to provide for the children already living in the orphanages. Operating from a place of strength also allows us to bring more children to the orphanage and save even more lives in the future.

Sewing Machine Project:-

One of 'Giving Hope Project' goals is to provide Widow's and Women at Risk of human trafficking a trained skill to provide for themselves and their children.  As well as, provide the upfront resources they will need.  It is our desire that they become self-sufficient and a functioning part of their community.

Giving Hope Project provides a Sewing Micro-Enterprise course in India for Widow's and Women at Risk. This course provides women, whom are the most vulnerable members of society in the developing world, with vocational training in tailoring and home based business skills. Upon graduation, each student receives a sewing machine and may become a self-employed seamstress. As a result of this course, the sense of self dignity and their role in the community these women once held is restored.

Widow's Ministry

'Giving Hope Project' is establishing a Widow’s Sewing Micro-enterprise Ministry in India. The Widow’s Project is geared towards rescuing widow’s from near death situations and severe poverty.

Some of the widow’s have children; of which, become at greater risk of being homeless, living in severe poverty in the slums or streets, or trafficked.

Many of the widow’s are surprisingly very young and have barely begun their adult lives by the time they have become widowed. Often times these young women feel that they have no way out except thru death. Giving hope Project wants to offer hope to these women by providing a way for them to gain an education and trade in the sewing industry so they can honorably support themselves and their children. When we partner together and provide a way for the widow’s to have a better life and future, their hearts are softened and opened up to receiving and learning so they can have a better future.
